Thank you for interest in our Package Delivery Driver job. We would like you to read the following details about the job:
• MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OUT OF PERSONAL VEHICLE (Bigger vehicle are better but any can work.)
• Packages will be picked up from our fulfillment center in Laurel and delivered to customers in throughout Hyattsville, College Park, Beltsville, and Silver Springs.
If you are interested, note the following:
1. We are contractors for Ontrac, which distributes well-known brands like Nike, Adidas, Lululemon, Temu, Shein, Zara, Nordstrom, and many others.
2. Drivers arrive at the warehouse, scan and load their vehicles using the Ontrac OnRoute app, which guides them through deliveries. After completing their routes, they simply send their manifest to the team lead and head home.
3. Our team operates as 1099 contractors using their personal vehicles, with a weekly deduction of $23 for workers' compensation.
4. Pay is commission-based, varying by the number of stops and distance from the warehouse, with drivers typically making between 90 to 150 stops daily (sometimes more, sometimes less). We have a diverse range of drivers that use sedans like Hondas to SUVs and cargo vans. So the size of your car will determine that amount of packages you may be able to carry/deliver.
5. Most drivers earn between $700 and $1,200 weekly, while those with larger vehicles and strong work ethics can make $1,200 to over $2,000.
6. The warehouse operates seven days a week, providing consistent work. However, you are not required to work every day.
7. Payments are made every Friday via direct deposit.
